A catalog of the brands, modules and batteries you quote
The catalog holds the brands you quote (module, inverter and battery), module specifications, and batteries with type, capacity label, unit price and GST rate. Your own entries appear first, followed by the platform's starter entries, and every quotation picks from these lists instead of free text.

What is in the catalog
Brands are grouped into three categories: module, inverter and battery. Module specifications are named entries you can reuse across quotations. Batteries are listed under a brand with a battery type, a capacity label, a unit price and a GST rate, and each can be switched active or inactive.
Why it saves time
Picking from a list keeps names consistent on every PDF and removes retyping. Battery prices and GST rates fill in when you choose a battery, and you still set the quantity and any discount on the quotation itself.
What a quotation needs from it
A quotation needs a module specification, a module brand and an inverter brand, so add at least one of each before you start. Quick Quote uses the first available entries of each and tells you if one is missing.
Common mistakes
Starting to quote with an empty catalog
A quotation needs a module specification, a module brand and an inverter brand, so add at least one of each first.
Looking for the battery quantity in the catalog
The catalog keeps a unit price and a GST rate for each battery. The quantity and any discount are set on the quotation itself.
Deleting a battery you may offer again
Batteries have an active flag. Switch one off to stop offering it and bring it back later without re-entering it.
What to check before you send
- At least one module specification, one module brand and one inverter brand exist
- Each battery you offer has the right type, capacity label, unit price and GST rate
- Batteries you no longer offer are switched inactive
- Brand names are spelled the way you want them to appear on every PDF
The names of the starter module specifications are also published as JSON at /data/module-specs.json. The file states its source and when the data was last updated.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to enter every brand myself?
No. The platform supplies starter entries, and your own entries are listed ahead of them. Add the ones you actually sell.
Where is the battery price kept?
The catalog stores a unit price and GST rate per battery. The quotation has its own battery line where you set the quantity and any discount.
Can I stop offering a battery without deleting it?
Yes. Batteries have an active flag, so you can switch one off and bring it back later.
