About Bharat Solar Venture
Bharat Solar Venture is quotation software for solar installers in India. It helps a company turn a customer enquiry into a numbered, branded, GST-ready PDF with a bill of materials, terms and an indicative subsidy estimate, and then track what happened to it.

Who it is for
Rooftop installers, EPC companies, solar pump dealers and small solar shops who send quotations regularly and want them to be consistent, quick and traceable.
How we try to stay accurate
Subsidy and tax figures change, so they are not hard-coded into marketing copy. Subsidy estimates come from a rule table in which every rule has a source link and a verified flag, and anything unverified is labelled as unverified and tells the reader to confirm with the state nodal agency or DISCOM.
GST is calculated line by line from your company's state and the customer's state, and the app asks for a missing state instead of guessing.
What it deliberately does not do
It does not issue GST invoices, file returns, manage projects or inventory, or model energy yield. It covers the quotation stage and does it carefully.

Common mistakes
Expecting invoices and returns
It does not issue GST invoices or file returns, so keep invoicing and filing in the tool you already use for them.
Expecting project, inventory or yield tools
It covers the quotation stage only. It does not manage projects or inventory, and it does not model energy yield.
Reading an unverified subsidy estimate as official
Anything unverified is labelled as unverified. Confirm it with the state nodal agency or DISCOM before you rely on it.
Leaving a state blank
GST is worked out from your company's state and the customer's state. The app asks for a missing state instead of guessing, so have both on file.
